For Dr. Vargas, the best part about being a dentist is developing personal connections with her patients and enabling them to experience a healthy, beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime. She truly enjoys getting to know new patients and she looks forward to welcoming you into our practice.
Dr. Vargas’ Dental Education & Training
Dr. Vargas completed her undergraduate education at Hunter College, and she went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Bellevue Hospital. Since then, she has continued her development as a dentist through involvement with the prestigious SPEAR Education organization and has become an established provider of Invisalign care.
Life Away From the Dental Office
Dr. Vargas loves to relax outside of work by spending time with family. She says she feels like she has four mothers, as her mom and aunts helped raise her back in Honduras and were instrumental in acclimating her when they moved to the U.S. when she was seven. Today, she has a loving fiancé as well as a six-year-old Chipoo (Chihuahua/poodle mix) named Bella. She enjoys baking (banana bread is her specialty), hiking, and practicing composite shaping on typodont teeth in her own mini at-home dental lab (which she claims is very relaxing and doesn’t feel like work!).
