Why She Became a Dentist
As a young girl, Dr. Staniek really looked up to her female dentist. She always enjoyed her appointments and recognized the impact that a caring provider can have on a person. She has vivid memories of happy patients leaving their office with a big healthy smile on their face. From that moment on, she felt a calling to become a dentist. She wanted to be that special person who could help others every day and give them the confidence to smile again too.
Dr. Staniek’s Dental Education & Training
Dr. Staniek’s college career started at Augustana College, where she majored in biology with a minor in biochemistry. From there, she pursued her dental doctorate at Midwestern University, followed by the completion of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the Clement Zablocki Medical VA Center. During her residency, she had the unique opportunity to work with medically compromised patients and manage complex dental cases.
