However, for more severe\nmisalignments, your dentures may need to be sent off to a lab for adjustments.\nDentures are mainly made of acrylic resin, a material that is durable,\ncomfortable, and easily repairable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Are Implant-Retained Dentures?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If your dentures are loose or worn down and need\nreplacement, implant-retained dentures might be a great option for you. These\nfull or partial dentures are held in place with dental implants, which are\nmetal posts surgically inserted into the jawbone to mimic the root structure of\nnatural teeth. Because they are designed to be permanent, your dentures will be\nmore stable. You won\u2019t need as much adhesive, and you might even need none at\nall. You also won\u2019t have to worry about your dentures slipping out while you\neat or speak! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
